Coaching you can trust

Curtis has represented Great Britain internationally across 10+ World and European Championships. He co-founded Diamond Blade to bring that competitive experience to every class. He trained under Ian Williams, National Sabre Coach for Team GB and an Olympic fencer at Barcelona 1992.

Sessions are organised, age-appropriate and supportive. We combine technical standards with clear communication and consistency in every class.

Safeguarding and welfare

Every coach is DBS-checked. Our safeguarding approach follows British Fencing guidance, with club policies published on our policies page.

Club Welfare Officer: Christine Kwok. Concerns can be raised via hello@diamondbladefencing.com.

What to expect as a parent or new fencer

Turn up in sportswear. We provide the kit for your trial. Sessions run at our published venues; the coach on the day will introduce themselves and place your child in the right group. After a trial we recommend a regular class and, when ready, entry into the Bladers Trophy League. Questions before you book? Contact us.
